Meet at Vandalia UMC - Drop off at 2 pm; Pickup at 2 pm on Saturday, June 20. Like to explore places that few others have been? Experience the adventure of caving! You’ll get dirty as you climb, crawl and squeeze though the best wild caves in Kentucky. Discover ancient cave formations like stalactites, popcorn, flowstone and many others. Work with others to find unexplored passages, waterfalls, and mudslides. Our experienced cave leaders will teach you about the beauty of this underground world. But don’t stop there... try going over the edge as you rappel and rock climb on 30 to 60-foot cliffs! Campers will stay in tents at the Great Saltpetre Cave Camp Ground in Rock Castle County, Kentucky. From there, we’ll travel out to several area caves as well as a local state park for some pool time. This week will be a journey that will allow us to become closer to God’s creation and build a fellowship of teamwork and trust.
