Tucked away in northwest Ohio across the street from the Maumee River, Widewater has become a familiar home to countless campers, families, and groups. Our rural setting blends God’s natural beauty with exciting camp fun: swimming pool and pond, fishing, canoeing, hiking, archery, wagon rides, and of course campfires! There are far more things to do than could possibly be listed here!

Our 106 acres offer the more comfortable space you’ve come to expect from your West Ohio Camps and Retreat Ministries. Wide open play areas give us space to stretch our wings. Fields, woods, and wetlands provide plenty of wildlife to explore. Breath-taking sunrises and sunsets inspire incredible worship and set the stage for an overnight “under the stars”

Fully accessible, Harmony Lodge houses up to 130 in heated, carpeted, air-conditioned (!) comfort. It also includes modern meeting spaces, a spacious dining room overlooking our pond, and a fire-side room. Are you ready to meet God and be changed? Come on out!

Widewater now offers an outdoor Labyrinth or prayer-path to it’s guests. It is an 8-circuit Chartes design tucked beneath a shady canopy of shade trees.

Other site enhancements include:

• Two large (12’ and 10’) inflateable water toys that are used summers in the pond.
• Stoned paths that improve access for wheel chair guests. These encircle the lodge, lead to the pond, fire pits and the labyrinth, with several “park-and sit” areas.
